* Afghanistan surprised in their first Warm up match and defeated to Pakistan by 3 wickets.

*  Afghan's bowlers did very great job and bowled out the Pakistan for only 262/10 in only 47.2 overs in the first innings. Mohammad Nabi was very exceptional with ball and picked up three wickets while, Dawlat Zadran and Rashid Khan picked two wickets each. Hamid Hasan and Aftab Alam picked up one wicket each.

*  In batting second, Afghanistan chased their target of 263 runs in 49.4 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.  H Shahidi registered a brilliant half century with scored 74 runs while, H  Zazai scored 49 runs.

*  Except H Shahidi and H Zazai, Other batsmen likes of M Shahzad, R Shah, M Nabi and Shenwari did not play a handy innings but contributed very useful runs. Hence, we can say that their most of the batsmen clicked collectively in the Fist Warm Up match and same was seen in the bowling department too.

*  After batting first, Australia putted 297 in the first innings with the help of brilliant century of Steve Smith.  Liam Plunkett was very exceptional with ball and claimed four wickets while, Mark Wood, Tom Curran and Liam Dawson picked up one wicket each.

*  In batting, England bowled out for only 285 runs in 49.3 overs while they were chasing 298 runs target. James Vince and Jos Buttler registered their respective half century and scored 64 and 52 runs respectively. Other batsmen likes of Jason Roy, Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali got their start but could not capitalise their innings.

*  Jonny Bairstow who failed with bat in the Ist Warm up match , might be go for big innings in this match.

*  Liam Dawson and Mark Wood got injured in the Ist Warm Up match and might miss this match. While, Skipper Eoin Morgan is also injured and doubtful to play this match.
