* Second ODI match was the high scoring match. After batting first, England putted 373/3 on the score board in 50 Overs. Their both top and middle order looked in tremendous touch.
* Both openers Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow provided a good start and shared 115 runs for opening wicket before the dismissal of Jonny Bairstow, who scored brilliant 51 runs off 45 deliveries including 6 boundaries. After that, Jason Roy, who scored magnificent 87 runs, shared again a vital partnership of 62 runs for second wicket along with Joe Root (40) and score reached at 177/2 in 31st over.
* In the last 19-20 Overs, Eoin Morgan and Jos Butler played a magnificent role of finishers and scored very quickly. Jos Buttler registered a brilliant hundred with 110* runs off only 55 balls while, Eoin Morgan smashed 71* off 48 balls. These duo's sensational batting in last 20 overs helped England to put a huge total of 373 runs against Pakistan.
* In bowling, English bowler looked slightly average on this flat wickets and were very expenses. However, David Willey and Liam Plunkett picked up two wickets each. While, Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid Picked One wicket each. After looking very average in the initial and middle phase, English bowlers especially pacers came back in last 5-6 overs and picked three quick wickets of Pakistan and secure a very thriller win on 12 runs in their favour.

* Fakhar Zaman smashed a brilliant century with scored 138 runs off 106 balls including 4 sixes and 12 boundaries. He and his opening partner Imam Ul Haw shared 92 runs partnership for the first wickets before the dismissal of Imam Ul Haq for 35 runs.
* Pakistan's middle order also looked in good touch and two half centuries were seen form middle order batsmen.Both Babar Azam and Asif Ali registered their respective half centuries with scored 51 runs each. In the lower middle order Skipper Sarfaraz Khan showed determination in batting and scored unbeaten 41 runs off 32 balls but, he was not well supported by other lower order batsmen and then, Pakistan faced a narrow win against England by 12 runs.
* Pakistan's bowler looked very expensive in this match and their all bowlers leaked more runs. That will be serious concern for the Pakistan in the next match. They were able to pick only three English wickets. Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali and Yasir Shar picked up one wicket each.
