While, Krunal Pandya and Jayant Yadav also picked up one wicket each.

* In batting, MI chased successfully the CSK's 132 runs target in 18.3 Overs with the help to fabulous batting of Surya Kumar Yadav, who played a brilliant finisher innings of unbeaten 71 runs off only 54 balls including 10 boundaries. He was well supported by Ishan Kishan in middle order who scored 28 runs.

* Mumbai Indians have very good record against the Chennai Super Kings and might be very strong team for the trophy.

* Mumbai Indians' batting performed very well this season. Their almost all batsmen putted much impact in this season for which they are one of the main competitor to win this trophy.

* MI's batting has been improved match by match and now, they have one of the most solid batting line ups likes of Quinton de Kock, Rohit Sharma, Evin Lewis, Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard, who can hit the ball very cleanly. However, Their both opener Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma were unable to provide a good start in the previous match against the same opponent. They need to be a good start in the final match for putting a good total on the score board.

* Opener Quinton de Kock showed his consistency and able to provide very good start. However, Second Opener Rohit Sharma found his form after the second half of this season and looked very good touch in the last few matches. . Both openers shared many fifty plus opening partnership with healthy strike rate for which MI's middle order got very good platform for the fearless batting in the death.

* The wicket of Hyderabad looked with very good bounce. So, Rohit Sharma , who loves pace and bounce, might be very effective on this wicket.

* In middle order, Hardik Pandya looked very consistent with bat through the whole season so far. In Other words He is now evergreen batsman for the MI. However, Kieron Pollard also looked effective especially in two matches but, he could not retain his good form. Krunal Pandya also looked ups and down with bat this season.

* MI have very formidable pace attack also likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Maling and Hardik pandya. Mitchell McClenaghan might be brought in this match in place of Off Spinner Jayant Yadav.

* In Spin, Rahul Chahar was very exceptional in the few matches including the previous match and He will continue his spin attack in the next match along with Veteran Krunal Pandya .

*  Alzarri Joseph has been ruled out.

* Chennai Super Kings won the second qualifier match against Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets.

* CSK's very disciplined bowling attack restricted Delhi Capitals for only 149/9 in the fist innings. Except Rishabh Pant and Little bit Colin Munro, None of other batsmen of Delhi Capitals showed any determination in batting against the brilliant bowling of Chennai Super Kings. DJ Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh and Deepak Chahar picked up two wickets each while Imran Tahir picked One.

* In result, CSK chased it successfully in 19 overs for the loss of 4 wickets on the basis of brilliant batting of their both opener Faf Du Plessis (50) and Shane Watson (50). After a very long time, CSK's opener clicked together and shared 81 runs for the opening partnership. Both openers Shane Watson and Faf Du Plessis registered their respective half centuries and provided a handy start in that important match.

* Both Opener's good form at very right time might be very useful for the Chennai Super Kings in view of final match. Shane Watson, who scored 50 runs in the last match, played a second good knock in the last game of this season and need to be continue in final match. However, Faf Du Plessis looked very consistent this season.

* However, Suresh Raina's flop show in batting was continued in the previous match and this might be very costly the CSK, If their both opener fails in early in the final match.

* Chennai Super Kings looked a very balance team this season. However, their batting did not performed collectively especially their top order looked very average this season but presence of MS Dhoni in middle order always filled this gap in batting.
