New Zealand (NZ)

* New Zealand defeated to India in their Ist Warm Up match by 6 wickets and will hope to continue their momentum in this Warm up match too.

* Kiwi's bowlers especially Trent Boult and Jimmy Neesham were very exceptional with ball and restricted India for only 179 runs in the Ist Innings. They picked all ten India's wickets. Trent Boult picked up four wickets while, Jimmy Neesham three. Colin de Grandhomme and Lockie Ferguson picked one wicket each.

* In batting second, New Zealand chased their target of 180 runs very easily in 37.1 Overs. Skipper Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor registered their brilliant half centuries and scored 67 and 71 runs respectively.

* Kiwi's team have very strong batting line ups in ODI match and might be one of the strong team in this mega tournament. They have very strong batting line ups like Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholas who can turn the match in their favour. They have have at least three hitter batsmen in the middle or lower middle batsmen likes of Tom Blundell, Jimmy Neesham and Colin Grandhomme. In lower middle order Mitchell Santner is also a big hitter.

* After inclusion of Wicket Keeper Batsman Tom Blundell their middle order looks very strong. Jimmy Neesham , Colin de Grandhomme and Mitchell Santner are three world class all rounder present in their squad who makes the Kiwi very strong.

* Their bowling attack also looks very strong. In presence of Tim Southee and Trent Boult who are able to swing the ball both side. Lockie Feguson is able to generate the pace in his bowling . J Neesham and Colin de Grandhome will provide the balance in the pace attack. While, Mitchell santner and Ish Sodi will be two spinners.

*  Windies' s first warm up match against South Africa has been abandoned due to rain .

*  Windies have  announced very strong squad for this World cup. All stars players likes of Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite are returned to the squad for this mega context.

*  However, Windies did not perform very well in their previous tri series and they lost final against Bangladesh.  They won only against Ireland in that tri series while, they lost all their matches against Bangladesh.  But, they have very different squad on that tour. Now, they have at least two world class players in the squad likes of Chris Gayle and Andre Russell. Both are in the very good touch in the IPL 2019. Especially, Andre Russell was very exceptional and might be very dangerous in the World Cup too.

*  Shai Hope was very exceptional with bat in the recently concluded tri nation series in Ireland. He scored 470 runs on that tour.  He has been playing very well for last couple of years.

*  Shannon Gabriel was also looked very effective in the tri nation series. While, Jason Holder displayed his all round ability as he did in the past.
