* Bangladesh's recent ODI form is very good. They won their all matches in their previous ODI tri series on the tour of Ireland very recently and won the tri series after beating Windies in the final.
* Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar and Shakib Al Hasan have made much impact in this series. Especially, Soumya Sarkar was very exceptional and registered three half centuries in the series while, Tamim Iqbal and all rounder Shakib Al Hasan registered two half centuries each in the series. Wicket Keeper batsman Musfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, who played only one match in the series and registered a brilliant half century, and Mohammad Mithun were also effective with bat in that series.
* Overall, Bangladesh's batting order is inform and will hope to performed very good with bat in the World Cup, but that will be not easy for them. The Wicket of Kennington Oval has very good pace and bounce as we saw in the Opening match between England and South Africa in which Pace bowlers likes Jofra Archer, Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi got a lot of bounce and create big problem for batsmen to play.
* Bangladesh's batsmen will have to prepare mentally to play bouncer because they will get a lot of bouncer and short deliveries by South African Pacers.
* Despite of very good performance in the tri series, Bangladesh lost the warm up match against India but their two batsmen Liton Das (73) and Mushfiqur Rahim (90) performed very well with bat and will hope to replicate the same in the match against South Africa.
* In bowling, Bangladesh's pace attack has looked very formidable in their recently played tri series in Ireland. Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza was very consistent with ball and picked wicket regularly, while Mustafizur Rahaman and new young pacer Abu Jayed also made much impact with ball. Abu Jayed made fist time five wickets haul in a single match on this tour while, Mustafizur Rahman was also fired in a match on this tour and picked four wickets. All rounder Mohammad Saifuddin was also effected in this series.
* Mosaddek Hossain who registered a brilliant half century in the final match of tri series, might also be consider for playing XI, because he is a medium pacer too. Hence, Management can pick any of Sabbir Rahman and Mosaddek Hossain in the playing XI.
* One of Litton Das and Mohammad Mithun will play this match.
* Some star players of Bangladesh namely Tamim Iqbal, Mashrafe Motaza and Mustafizur Rahman are not fit hundred percent. Tamim Iqbal has suffered with finger fracture while, Mortaza and Rahman have been suffering from calf problems but all these trio were seen in the nets during practice and will hope to play this match.
* Injured/Unavailable:- Tamim Iqbal (Questionable, finger fracture), M Mortaza (Questionable, Calf Problem), Mushtafizur Rahman (Questionable, Calf Problem)
* Key Players :- Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan, Musfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Saifuddin, M Mortaza, M Rahman
BAN Line Ups
* Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar are expecting to open the innings. Both are very good batsmen and have very good recent form. Tamim Iqbal is injured but will hope to play this game.
* Liton Das is expected to bat at No 03. He has looked very brilliant with bat in the last couple of matches including warm up match.
* All rounder Shakib Al Hasan will bat No 04. He has made much impact in recently played tri series. His performance will decide the Bangladesh's future in this mega events.
* Wicket Keeper Musfiqur Rahim and One of Sabbir Rahman and Mosaddek Hossain will be next batsmen at No 05 and 06. Musfiqur Rahim was very exceptional with bat in the Warm up match. He also looked in the tri series while, Sabbir Rahman did not play any remarkable innings in the parst. M Hossain has registered a brilliant half century in the final match of tri Series.
* Mohammad Saifuddin will be next batsman. He is a very good batter of lower order.
* Mashrafe Mortaza, Mustafizur Rahman and Mohammad Saifuddin will lead the pace attack along with may be Mosaddekd Hossain.
* If Mehidy Hasan will play this match then He and Shakib Al Hasan will lead the spin. Otherwise Rubel Hossain will be added another pacer in the playing XI.
* South Africa lost their first match of ICC CWC 2019 against England by huge 104 runs and would be looking to bounce back in their second match when they take on Bangladesh on Sunday, 02 June at the Save venue Kennington Oval.
* South Africa's pace attack looked very good in their opening match and restricted the England for 311/8 in the first innings, which was not the huge total for them to chase because Wicket was very flat.
* Except D Pretorius, who looked slightly weak and wicket less in the opening match, their other bowlers looked very effective. Lungi Ngidi, who played after injury, picked up three wickets while, Kagiso Rabada and leg spinner Imran Tahir picked up two wickets each. Andile Phehlukwayo also picked up one wicket.
* South African pacers picked wickets on regular interval in the first match, but their bowling in middle overs was not so good for which one brilliant two brilliant partnership of hundred plus were made by England for the second and third wicket. After that, due to poor bowling of D Pretorius and Very average bowling of Andile Phehlukwayo, Ben Stokes settled on the crease and played a very good innings till the almost end. Stokes's brilliant Innings created the big different between both teams.
* In batting, Except Wicket Keeper opener batsman Quinton de Kock (68) and middle order batsman Rassie van der Dussen (50), none of other batsmen showed their determination in batting and South Africa bowled out for only 207 runs in the second innings while they were chasing 312 runs target.
* It has been observed that, South Africa's most batsmen likes of Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis and Rassis van der Dussen got trouble to play against the short or bouncer ball. All these trio could not played well the very well directed short/bouncer ball of Jofra Archer and lost their wickets. Hashim Amla, who got head injury on the bouncer ball of Jofra Archer and retired hurt later, came to bat again in lower order but his confidence was too low to play short ball.
* They will have to overcome on the said problem in their ongoing matches because England's most of the pitches have very good pace and bounce and they will mostly face such types of ball. If they will not play short/bouncer ball nicely in the next matches then they will got trouble against the teams that have quality of pacers.
* Veteran middle order batsman David Miller, who missed the Ist match, might be introduced in the second match against Bangladesh in place of Hashim Amla who suffered from Head Injury during the batting of last match. While, Chris Morris might also be included in the playing XI in place of D Pretorious to boost the pace attack.
* Injured/Unavailable :- Dale Steyn, Hashim Amla (Questionable)
* Key Players :- Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Andile Phehlukwayo, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi
SA Line Ups
* Aiden Markram and Wicket Keeper Quinton de Kock will open the batting. Both are very good batsmen and able to provide a good start. Quinton de Kock was very exceptional with bat in the previous match while, Aiden Markram was failed but he has made much impact in the South Africa Domestic cup.
* Skipper Faf du Plessis will bat at No 03. He is able to hold the innings. His recent form is very good but could not bat well in the previous match.
* Rassie van der Dussen will bat at No 04. He was the only batsman after Quinton de Kock who played very well and registered half century in the previous match against England.
* JP Duminy, David Miller and Andile Phehlukwayo will be next batsmen at No 05, 06 and 07. All these trio are very good attacking batsmen, but David Miller might be more dangerous in the slog overs due to his clean hitting ability. Andile Phehlukwayo is a very good all rounder. He can hit the ball very cleanly and He is a medium pacer also.
* Chris Morris will bat next. He also able to hit the ball nicely.
* Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Nagidi, Andile Phehlukwayo and Chris Morris will lead the pace attack. Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi will share the new ball.
* Imran Tahir will lead the spin along with JP Duminy.
