* Their batting performed very well in the second match against Scotland which will be very positive sign for them in the English Condition. Both openers Dimuth Karunaratne and Avishka Fernando did very well with bat. Kusal Mendis looked also very well with bat in middle order.

Their two veteran batsmen Angelo Mathews and Lahiru Thirimanne are able to hold the innings and control any damage.
