AFGHANISTAN (AFGH)


* Afghanistan could not open their winning account in this tournament so far. They lost their all five played matches in a row.

* They lost their last match against India by only 11 runs.

* However, Afghanistan lost the previous match against India, but they fought well till the last moment. Most of the time, Afghanistan team was in the game but, unfortunately they lost .

* Afghanistan's trio Spinners did very good bowling. Mujee Ur Rahman stroked very early and picked the wicket of Rohit Sharma, After this Mohammad Nabi picked two wickets of KL Rahul and Kohli and putted a lot pressure on India. Rashid Khan, who was very poor against England, also bowled well and picked One wicket.

* In the slog Overs, Gulbadin Naib used a lot of variation in his bowling and created much problems for India. He picked two wickets in the match and both two came in the slog overs. He was well supported by A Alam , who picked One wicket. Rahmat Shah also picked One wickets.

* Due to very effective bowling by Afghan's bowlers, India putted only 224/8 in the first Innings.

* After a very effective bowling, Mohammad Nabi did very well with bat and played first time really a great knock in this tournament with scored 52 runs. He tried hard to chase his target of 225 runs but could not do that and dismissed in the last Overs when Afghanistan required 12 runs off 4 deliveries.

* In other batsmen, Rahmat Shah(36), Skipper Gulbadin Naib (37), H Shahidi (21) and N Zadran (21) got their start but could not capitalise their start into big knock.

* Although, Afghanistan did not win any matches in this tournament, but their performance improved in the last two matches. They played full 50 Overs quota against England, which was the first time for them to play their full overs quota , while they were very near to win in the previous match against India. So, they can surprise in their next match against Bangladesh.

* Their are little issues seen their batting and need to solve immediately. Their only few batsmen likes of Rahmat Shah, H Sahidi and N Zadran looked consistent, which is not sufficient to win. However, Ashghar Afghan and Mohammad Nabi also played one good knock in this tournament, but need to consistent.

* Rahmat Shah will bat at No 03. He is a very talented batsmen and able to play a big knock. He looked very solid in this tournament. He is a very useful leg spinner too.

* H. Shahidi and A Afghan will bat at No 04 and 05 . H Sahidi has registered two half centuries in this tournament .

* Mohammad Nabi will be next batsman at No 06. He is a good all rounder and looked very exceptional in the last match.

* Najibullah Zadran, A Khil (Wicket Keeper) and Rashid Khan will be next batsmen. Najibullah Zadran is a very good batsmen and played two or three vital innings in this tournament.

*  Gulbadin Naib and Aftab Alam will lead the pace attack. Gulbadin Naib performed very solid with ball in the last two matches.

* Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman will lead the spin attack. All trio were very effective in the previous match.

BANGLADESH (BAN)


* Bangladesh are placed at the Sixth position at the point table with 2 wins and 3 loses after 6 matches. Their One matches has been abandoned due to rain.

* They lost their last match against Australia by 48 runs.

* Bangladesh's bowling looked slightly weak in the previous match. None of their regular bowler putted their effect against Australia, for which Australia Putted 381/5 in the first Innings. Soumya Sarkar picked up three wickets while, Mushtafizur Rahman picked One.

* Bangladesh's batting looked very solid in this tournament and that was seen in the previous match too. Wicket Keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim registered a brilliant century in the previous match with scored 102* runs while, Mahmudullah scored brilliant 69 runs.
