* After winning the first two ODI match against Sri Lanka A, India A lost the third ODI match by 6 wickets but still take lead of 2-1 in the five match ODI series.
* India putted 291/8 on the score board in the first Innings. But, due to rain in the second innings, Sri Lanka got a new target of 266 runs which was chased by them in 43.5 overs after losing four wickets.
* What a magnificent innings by Prashant Chopra 129 runs off just 125 ball. He was well supported by Skipper Deepak Hooda (53) .
* Except, These two i.e P Chopra (129) and Deepak Hooda (53), None of any batsmen showed their consistency in batting. However, few Indian batsmen likes of Ishan Kishan (25) and Shivam Dube (28) got their start but could not capitalise into a big knock. Hence, India scored below 300 in the first Innings which was little difficult to defend on the run scoring wickets.
* India-A Bowlers looked slightly weak in this match. Especially, Sandeep Warrier was so expensive. Warrier's bowling analysis was 7-74-1. Shivam Dube picked two wickets while, S Gopal picked One.
* Tushar Deshpande may be included in the playing 11 in place of Sandeep Warrier.
* Shubhman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad may also be included in the playing XI in place of Anmolpreet Singh and R Bhui.

* If R Gaikwad and S GIll play then Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubhman Gill will open the batting. Both are very good batsman and able to play big innings. R Gaikwad registered a very big hundred in the first match.
* P Chopra and I Kishan will bat at No 03 and 04. Chopra registered a brilliant century in the last match.
* Deepak Hooda, Shivam Dube and Washington Sunder will be next batsmen. Hooda registered a brilliant century in the last match. ( R Bhui and A Singh are expected to not play this match)
* Mayank Markande, S Gopal and Washington Sunder will lead the spin along with Deepak Hooda.
* Tushar Deshpande/S Warrier and I Porel will lead the pace along with Shivam Dube.
* After losing first two matches of this series, Sri Lanka A came back in the third ODI match and defeat India A by 6 wickets.
* C Karunaratne was very exceptional with ball and picked up five wickets and helped Sri Lanka to restrict India for 291 runs in the first Innings.
* On the basis of Brilliant batting of Niroshan Dickwella (62), Sangeeth Cooray (88) and S Jayasuriya (66*), Sri Lanka chased their target of 266 runs which was their new target after D/L method due to rain.
* However, Sri Lanka A won the last match but their most of the batsmen are still struggling for runs. Only Niroshan Dickwella, D Shanaka, S Coorey and S Jayasuriya have been among runs. The average Performance of all rounder I Jayaratne is the big relief for Sri Lanka for balancing their batting.
* In bowling, C Karunaratne and L Kumara did well job. They were well supported by I Jayaratne.
