* India started their ICC CWC 2019 campaign with a very comprehensive victory over South Africa by 6 wickets and will be hoping to continue their winning momentum in their next match against Australia.
* Indian bowlers especially Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal were very exceptional with ball and picked up two and four wickets respectively. B Kumar and K Yadav also picked two and One wicket respectively. Jasprit Bumrah got a lot of swing in the initial over of fist innings and dismissed the both South African Openers, after that Yuzi Chahal looked very dangerous and picked up four middle order wickets. So, South Africa scored only 227/9 in the first innings.
* Rohit Sharma was very exceptional with bat and registered a brilliant unbeatable hundred with scored 122 runs off 144 deliveries. After early dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan (8) and Virat Kohli (18), India needed a solid batting and that was done by Hit man. KL Rahul (26) and Veteran MS Dhoni (34) also played useful innings in the middle order and helped Rohit to win this match.
* However, India won their opening match, but their batting did not looked very well. Except, Centurion Rohit Sharma, Other batsmen looked little dull and need to improve their performance against the Strong five times world cup winner Australia.
* If we analyse the Indian performance from the last two or three year, then it is found that, their mostly victories were come through by the brilliant batting of their top three i. e Rohit Sharma, S Dhawan and V Kohli.
* In the previous match Only Rohit Sharma clicked in the top three and India won the match. So, their top three will have to score in the match against Australia for secure win. We hope Virat Kohli might be very dangerous in this match.
* Overall, India's batting line ups is looking very solid. After including KL Rahul , their issues of No 04 batsman is looking to solve. After top order trio, KL Rahul, MS Dhoni, Kedar and Hardik are four world class batsmen in middle order who can play nicely against any team in the world.
* There are two matches already played on this ground in this tournament. In the both matches, Pitch looked some dry and helped to spinner. In the last match which was played between New Zealand and Bangladesh. In that match, New Zealand's six wickets was taken by Bangladesh's spinner and that is the very positive sign for India because India have two quality of Spinners in form of Y Chahal and mistry Kuldeep Yadav.
* Rohit Sharma have very good recent ODI record against Australia. He registered three half centuries against Australia in the last five matches. Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan also registered one century each in the last five matches against Australia.
* India played only one match at Kennington Oval against Australia. That match was played in 1999 in which Australia won the match by 77 runs, but India will be looking to change their record against Australia at Kennington Oval.
* Injured/Unavailable:- None
* Key Players :- Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, J Bumrah, Y Chahal
India Line Ups
* Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will open the batting. Both are very good batsmen and able to provide a good start. Rohit Sharma registered a brilliant hundred in the previous match.
* Virat Kohli will bat at No 03. He is one of the best batsmen in the World Cricket.
* KL Rahul and Wicket Keeper MS Dhoni will bat at No 04 and 05. Both are very good batsmen of middle order. MS Dhoni is one of the best ODI finisher.
* Hardik Pandya and Kedar Jadhav will be next batsmen at No 06 and 07. Hardik pandya was very exceptional in the IPL. He is a very good medium pacer too.
* Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya will lead the pace attack. Jassi was very exceptional in the last match.
* Yuzi Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav will lead the spin. They will be assisted by Kedar Jadhav. Yuzi made much impact in the previous match.
* Australia continued their tremendous ODI form in the ICC World Cup 2019 and won their both matches and will hope to continue their winning momentum in the next match too.
* They won their last match against Windies by 15 runs.
* After dismissal of top four batsmen for only 38 runs, Steven Smith lifted the innings successfully and scored brilliant 73 runs, He was well supported by Alex Carey (45) and Nathan Coulter Nile (92). With the help of their trio, Australia putted 288 runs on the score board in the first innings.
* Australian Bowlers did very good job with ball in the previous match and restricted the opposition for 265 runs in the second innings. After a very long time, Mitchell Starc looked very exceptional with ball and picked up five wickets while, Pat Cummins picked picked two.
* However, Australia won the second match against Windies, but their batting was exposed against the short and bouncer ball. They most batsmen dismissed against the short deliveries which is not the good sign for Australian batting because India have world class pacer inform of Jasprit Bumrah who can bowl very good short Pitch deliveries. Another thing, Australian batting line ups was seen too dependent on David Warner and Steven Smith. Except these two, none of any Australian batsmen looked in good touch in the both matches.
* Hence, If India will take the wickets of David Warner and Steven Smith in early stage, then Australia's batting might be exposed again.
* This match will not be easy for Australia because the pitch of Kennington Oval is little dry and help to spinner. Hence, it will not be easy to Australia to play Y Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav nicely.
* Usman Khawaja has very good recent ODI record against India. He registered two centuries and two half centuries in the last five matches. Aaron Finch has also registered one half century against India in the last five matches.
* Injured/Unavailable :- None
