* Pakistan lost the previous match against Australia by 41 runs.
* Pakistan's pacers did very well job with ball and bowled out the Australia in 49 Overs at 307 runs. Mohammad Amir was very exceptional with ball and picked up five wickets while Shaheen Afridi picked two.
* Pakistan's batting did not click in the previous match and they bowled out for only 266 runs in 45.4 Overs. Only Imam Ul Haq registered a brilliant half century with scored 53 runs. While, their most batsmen likes of Babar Azam (30), Mohammad Hafeez (46) and Skipper S Ahmed (40) got their start but could not convert into a big knock.
* At one time, Pakistan were 160/6 in 30 overs, but very useful innings of Hasan Ali (32) and then Wahab Riaz (45) lifted the Pakistan's Inning over 250 runs but that innings was not sufficient for Pakistan's victory.
* Pakistan's batting need to improve in the next match against India. They will have to build at least two or three vital partnership in the top and middle order otherwise Their situation will be same as previous match again.
* Mohammad Amir's , who looked very exceptional with ball in all three matches, brilliant recent form is the very positive sign for the Pakistan because M Amir's bowling performance was so poor during the last one year. Wahab Riaz got reverse swing in the last 10 overs due to his side on bowling action and that was very useful for him in the last match because he picked two wickets in the slog overs in the last match for which England could not chase their total.
* After Including Shoib Malik and Asif Ali in the batting line ups as middle order batsmen, Pakistan's batting line ups is looking very strong rather than opening match. Shaoib Malik is able to stable the innings after early damage while, Asif Ali is a good hitter of ball and has very good recent form in the previous ODI series against England in England. Hence, he might be very effective again in English Condition.
* Pakistan's most of the batsman likes of Fakhar Zaman, Imam Ul Haq and Babar Azam have made much impact in their previous series against England just recently and will hope to replicate the same in this match. In middle Order, Mohammad Hafeez and Shaoib Malik also looked very good in the last one or two ODIs in that series. Overall. Pakistan's most batsmen have been accommodated themselves in the English Condition and used to the Pace and bounce of the English Wickets.

* Pakistan's batting did not click in the previous match and they bowled out for only 266 runs in 45.4 Overs. Only Imam Ul Haq registered a brilliant half century with scored 53 runs. While, their most batsmen likes of Babar Azam (30), Mohammad Hafeez (46) and Skipper S Ahmed (40) got their start but could not convert into a big knock.
* At one time, Pakistan were 160/6 in 30 overs, but very useful innings of Hasan Ali (32) and then Wahab Riaz (45) lifted the Pakistan's Inning over 250 runs but that innings was not sufficient for Pakistan's victory.

Wahab Riaz got reverse swing in the last 10 overs due to his side on bowling action and that was very useful for him in the last match because he picked two wickets in the slog overs in the last match for which England could not chase their total.
* After Including Shoib Malik and Asif Ali in the batting line ups as middle order batsmen, Pakistan's batting line ups is looking very strong rather than opening match. Shaoib Malik is able to stable the innings after early damage while, Asif Ali is a good hitter of ball and has very good recent form in the previous ODI series against England in England. Hence, he might be very effective again in English Condition.
* Pakistan's most of the batsman likes of Fakhar Zaman, Imam Ul Haq and Babar Azam have made much impact in their previous series against England just recently and will hope to replicate the same in this match. In middle Order, Mohammad Hafeez and Shaoib Malik also looked very good in the last one or two ODIs in that series. Overall. Pakistan's most batsmen have been accommodated themselves in the English Condition and used to the Pace and bounce of the English Wickets.

While, Fakhar Zaman registered a magnificent century against India in the ICC Champion trophy final match against India.
