* One of the ICC CWC 2019 tournament favourites South Africa started their Wold Cup campaign very bad and lost their three matches in a row. This is the first time, that South Africa lost three matches consecutively in the ICC CWC ODI tournament. In addition to the first three matches which was lost by South Africa, their previous match against Windies has been abandoned due to rain. No,w They will have to win there rest all matches at any cost to revive in this tournament.
* In the Previous match against Windies, South Africa's scored 29/2 in the first innings before rain. After that, the match did not start.
* They lost their previous match against India by 6 wickets.
* Their batsmen failed again in their previous match against India and finally, South Africa putted only 227/9 in the first innings, which was the below total from the average score of this ground. None of any South Africa's batsman showed their determination in batting which is the very serious concern for them. However, few batsmen likes of Faf du Plessis (38 runs), Rassie van der Dussen (22 runs), David Miller (31 runs), Andile Phehlukwayo (34 runs) and Chris Morris (42 runs) got their start but could not capitalise their start into a big knock.

* Afghanistan could not open their winning account in this tournament so far. They lost their three matches in a row.
* They lost their last match against New Zealand by 7 wickets.
* Afghanistan's batting failed again in the previous match and whole team scored only 172 runs in the first innings. Except, H Sahidi who scored 59 runs, none of other batsmen showed their determination in batting. However, H Zazai and Noor Ali Zadran got their start but could not convert it into a big knock.
* Only two batsmen Najibullah Zadran and H Sahidi registered one half century each in this tournament for Afghanistan.
* Aftab Alam picked up all three wickets of New Zealand in the previous match.
* Afghanistan's batsmen did not play their full overs in the both matches, which is the very serious concern for them. The main reason of their failure is their batting inconsistency. Their batsmen did not score collectively in the both matches. Except, Najibullah Zadran and H Sahidi, other batsmen did not look consistent.
